BARRED ROCK :: ROOSTER OR HEN? HELP!

So it's been a long time since started thread. Blackie is a rooster and now lives on an organic farm and is charge of a huge flock. He's awesome!!! We go visit him often. I miss him still but his owner mails me photos often. We have 4 hens now and introducing 6 new ones on Monday! All about to lay(and all hens for sure!). Can't wait

Aspemom73 I would guess rooster if I had to guess. Keep us posted. It took blackie awhile to find his loud crow.

Similar situation with buttercup. She is 4 weeks and I have suspicions that she is a he.... My 10 year old daughter will not be happy....
