Barred Rock Sexing Help!

I started out with 3 Barred Rocks. One started to look like a rooster very early on, about 3 weeks ago. Now I'm left with these 2. They are probably around 6 weeks old. One has a slightly redder comb, but both are at least pink. Thoughts?

The two together:

Chick 1, the paler of the two

Chick 2, slightly redder than Chick 1

Any help is appreciated! Of course, I'm hoping for girls!

They're both pretty dark. I'd say pullets!

That is the thing about BR's.....roos are grey-er.....more white than black. Hens are blacker....more black than white. But...it helps to have something to compare them too. In my straight run chicks....all the chicks looked the same color....because they were all roo's.....lol..

look at their legs, from the picture they look different, color seems darker on the second one.. it could just be the light, but I would say the second one is a boy. first one a girl. if you had a better picture close up of their heads, I could be wrong.....

I think you have pullets. It's still pretty early though.

Here is some perspective for you. These both came out of a BR order. Assuming the breed is correct, look at how much lighter the guy is, see his wattles and comb are larger and have more color?
