My Barred Rock has something wrong with her foot. I've checked for broken bones, sprains, etc., but still have no luck in finding what is the matter with her. Any ideas?

I'd love to help butyou wern't very spesific... Posting a pic miht help... The only thing I can think of would be bumble foot

I don't think that a pic would help. I've already checked her for bumble foot. Her foot looks normal, she has just been limping for several months, and I finally had to separate her from my flock for they were bullying her a lot. She rarely lays eggs, but when she does, they're huge!

If her foot looks normal and you checked it for bumblefoot and broken bones I don't think there is anything to worry about. Maybe she sprained it jumping to and from the roost. Regarding her egg laying frequency that varies from chicken to chicken. It could be completely normal for her.

Keep her separated and give her extra protein and I recommend liquid baby vitamins. The brand name is Poly-Vi Sol but generic is fine. Get the kind without added iron. Give her 2 drops in the morning and 2 at night for a week and see if there is an improvement. She might have a vitamin deficiency.

Make sure she has room to walk around so she can exercise and try to get her into the sun for an hour or 2 during the day.
