When I meant she is molting I meant Sherman. It sounded like I was talking about penny my RIR sorry.It looks like Sherman is molting as well. Once she is finished and comes back into lay then her comb and wattles will redden back up

What I put in my original message was she was molting right after I was talking about penny. So it sounded like I was saying penny was moltingLOL I think I'm still confused!
Your Barred Rock looks like she is molting, so that is one reason why her comb is pale, dry looking and has shrunk.
Mine do that too. I do have 1-2 birds when they molt, their comb doesn't seem to go that pale or shrink much, each bird is an individual.
