Barred Rock???

It's true that hatchery BRs and high quality BRs (per standard) are almost like a separate breed. There are varying degrees of quality.

Kudos on the roo. He is a very nice bird. I have one hen w/white legs, is she still a barred rock?

Yellow legs can fade to almost white later in the laying cycle. If she started with white, she is not a pure BR or she's another breed. What comb does she have?

May be a Cuckoo Marans. They have pinkish-white legs, single combs, and blurry barred white/black feathering.
