Barred Rock?

Every Barred rock I've had, were very yellow in the legs. It's been 6 years since I've had them...so you tell me. Barred rock?

Ps...she's huge! As big as my Australorp. She's a 1 1/2yrs old.

Hmm... I would be tempted to say dominique with two recessive genes for a single comb.

My guess is she's a hatchery hen... so that is possible.

Angie, If that's Gertrude I noticed she is also a lot thinner in the hips than my Barred Rock. Sort of taller and thinner: is that a Dominique thing? I don't know. My BR (at least that's what we ordered..) has pinky-yellow legs with a slight black wash down the front. She's shorter and squatter than Gertrude.
