I think she looks more like Maran also- that is why I am asking for opinions
I suppose she will be laying eggs soon enough- but I am curious. I like to know the breeds of what we have out there in the coop- she is the only "odd ball" lol and my husband wants to keep her. I emailed the lady who gave her to us, hoping that she may have more of a background.
Well months later and this lady has proved to not be a maran. Her eggs are a light brown. She looks the same as when she was younger, except now has a large single comb, quiet, calm bird. She is my hubby's favorite- and although she is not a maran, we still call her Cuckoo
