Barred Rock???

This is Mary. Yes, we named him Mary back when we thought he was gonna turn out to be a hen. lol

The person we got him off told us he was a barred rock hen when we got him at 8 weeks old. We have a couple other barred rock roosters and he just doesnt quite match up to them. He has a few "red" speckles and some yellowish in his neck feathers. The bottom of his feet are a little pinksh.

Maybe he is a barred rock, but im not too sure.

Actually, it is much more likely he only half barred rock, from his mother. His father was likely a big Red bird.
