Barred rocks again! She said both were female. They are less than one week. I believe at least one is male. How about you?

Based on the head spots and the coloring of the wing feathers, I'm guessing the left one is a male and the right one a females in the pictures. But the head spot sexing depends on if the parent flock was bred for that quality.

These are recent pics of one of the chicks now. I’m convinced they are boys but my dad is still thinking they are girls for some reason. If anyone happens to see this what do you think?

You are welcome. If your dad wants to know why, it is because male barred rocks are overall lighter in color than females due to them having wider white bars than females. Also, both have large, bright red, upright combs at a young age, and one is starting to show male saddle feathers.
