I'm going to make one of these for compost
with holes all over for ventilation. Will this work well for manure as well? Also, because of the added heat and ventilation this device gets compared to my current trash can full of poo, will be be ready for soil faster?
I add shavings, poo, the occasional soft egg that falls through the slatted floor, etc into the bin. Is it done when it stops smelling? I'll also throw some into compost, but most of it will be by itself as manure

I have a poop catching bin under their roosting pole and I just dump it into a home depot bucket and let it sit for a few months... then I just mix it into the gardens as needed
