What's her crop like?
Any lesions or Canker inside the beak?
Have you added any new birds to your flock within the last 30 days or so?

I would deworm. Use Valbazen at a doseage rate of 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days.
You can use Safeguard Liquid Goat dewormer at a dosage rate of 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once daily for 5 days in a row. Ivermectin will not treat Capillary or Gapeworms.

ILT is a Virus, there's no antibiotic treatment. It's highly contagious and a State Reportable disease. It's not very common. I'm surprised a Vet consult didn't ask for info if they thought ILT so they could report it, did they?

there are no weird marks or lesions on her beak. she isn't doing any of the things she did yesterday so I wouldn't be able to take a video. gapeworm is something we were worried about hence the reason for the de worming. I will look into getting that liquid goat de wormer and start that treatment on all the chickens and it was an online vet it wasn't an actual vets office that I took her too. like I said he didn't officially diagnosis Karen with ILT...I mentioned that I found that information on the internet and just wanting more information or to treat it as worse case scenario since I was talking with a vet

she's kinda moving around..doesn't seem to have labored breathing anymore but she's kinda puffed up and sleepy. when I was out there she tried to poop 2x and I didn't exactly see any poop fall out and after she puffed up to poop she kinda stayed puffed up and started to close her eyes to sleep. she's standing not laying down. and to clarify....they get eggs every now and then...I dont give them like eggs or treats to replace their feed. they are still eating commercial layer crumbles and free ranging

Can you post any pictures? Are you still seeing bloody mucus from her beak? ILT virus can cause severe gasping, “pump handle respirations.” With most respiratory diseases, there can be more than one possible at a time, such as infectious bronchitis, mycoplasma, coryza. It would be good to get some testing done while she is showing symptoms. Zoologix.com and Vet DNA.com are ones that will privately test after you mail in collected swabs. If testing is positive for ILT, I would cull and bury deeply or burn the carcass. A necropsy by your state vet is another mire accurate way of identifying the disease(s.) she does not have any more bleeding. her beak is clear. other than her puffing up after trying to poop she's normal. she's still isolated from the rest of the flock. her breathing is fine..compared to labored yesterday.
this was what she "coughed" up..it was in with her bloody mucus

I would also suggest that you have some one else help you hold her, and get as good a look in her beak and down her throat as you can. Make sure that there isn't something foreign lodged in there that has caused injury and thus the bleeding. You won't be able to see far, but look for anything obvious. I would also check her crop, to make sure it's functioning normally. Does it feel empty, full, hard, soft and squishy, etc? Is she eating and drinking? Also check her crop first thing in the morning, it should be empty then. Without testing and imaging (which might show a foreign object depending on what it is), it's hard to know for sure.

yea my daughters are going to help me with the administration of the de worming medication so I will look down and see if I can see anything obvious. now with her crop my husband knows more that myself...what should it feel like? and what it mean if it wasn't normal if that makes sense?

her last eggs was late or middle of last week and she laid 2 soft shelled eggs. She is pooping..a balanced amount of white and dark. She has had a pasty butt for the last few days so I cleaned her this evening. Yesterday she had runny poop while she was dispelling bloody mucus but her poop hardened up over the day and night. I can try and get a Pic of her poop tomorrow. she's resting now. this was her a few hours after her incident. she's in her isolation coop and has been since yesterday late afternoon
