Had a neighbor stop in this morning, answered the door and he was carrying a plastic tub. He said he had come for some eggs; I laughed and said "you have come to the right place". My wife opened the refrigerator and set out the egg drawer and said "Have at it". He got about a dozen and a half, visited awhile and left. This is the same neighbor that has given me a very large amount out of his large garden, I have tried to give him eggs in the past and he has told me he does not eat them. My wife and I think he must have someone he is going to give them to, possibly a girlfriend or girlfriend to be. Either way, it sure felt good knowing he felt comfortable enough to stop by and to be able to repay a small bit to him. I love small town life.

Sweet story! When my parents first moved into this small town they used to find pumpkins on their doorstep and sometimes a freshly baked loaf of bread or 6 free range eggs on the kitchen table. No clue as to who left it there.

Good neighbors. SO very hard to come by these days.
Nice of you both to share goods.
I kinda wish it was more small townish here.
