Based on this chick photo it’s a boy right?

I’m comparing my two chicks together to figure out the sex in the lighter chick (2nd photo). The first is a boy (he’s now 13 weeks). They are full siblings.

The main difference between the two is the yellow feather are coming in much lighter so far. The mix is silkie x d’uccle.

I’m leaning towards a boy at this point ?

Yes, boy.

I raise D'Uccles and -even though I know this is a cross- my boys were the only ones to have combs like that at around 1.5 weeks or so

While it's certainly possible you have a cockerel on your hands, I wouldn't be too hasty. That little comb could either continue to develop, or plateau in growth. Give it a few more weeks, and we'll be certain!

Most likely a cockerel. But it is still to early to be sure. Post pics of the comb at 6 weeks.
