I'm starting my list for the basket show-please post what you are bringing for sale.

blue laced red wyandottes- 1 pullet/cockeral pair (black lacedx splash laced)
blue laced red wyandotte pullet/red cockeral pair (black laced x red w/black hackles)
gold laced wyandotte cockeral

(willing to sub any cockeral for the gold laced)

EE bantams - black/gold cockeral
bue (laced??) gold (not like a blr lacing )cockeral
pullet to go with either cockeral.

frizzled cochins will be hatching that day so some will be available but not that day.

I will hold birds, just let me know.

I have 12 birds on my "sell" list - all are bantam cochins.

1 Black Frizzled Hen

1 Blue Splash Pullet

3 Blue Cockerels

1 Black Cockerel

2 Buff Pullets
1 Buff Hen

I'm starting to give all the birds their baths today, so everyone will be clean in every way before the basket show.

I've got a bunch to do, so I'm starting with the most heavily feathered roosters. Even drying them thoroughly with the hair dryer takes a half an hour.

I like to take my time with baths so I don't drown them, give them a heart attack or scare them too much.

They need a few days to get their feathers back in order and recover some of their natural, bodily oils.

Plus, cutting toenails is always a thrill, with some bleeding which gets stopped with blood stop powder.

But anyhow, a few days in cages heavily bedded with shavings keeps them nice and clean and is the way I sort out all the birds going to the show.
