Yeah, figured it would be a hike for you.. That's about what it takes us to get to the Boston show. Maybe we will see you at Deerfield

I'll post the original announcement again.

Be aware that this show is in the Pulling Ring Building at the Farmington Fairgrounds, so it's a "rain or shine" event.

We'll be under cover if it rains!!!

Hey Joanie, I've got to do some legal stuff this morning and then process a few more meat birds, about supper time I'll try to give you a ring.
Hear about that tree up rooting? That was a very short distance from me! Eeek, thought that storm was a hot one. At one point temp went from 80 down to 60! Unbelieveable!
No power for many hours, put a metal pail with cover over it so the turkeys couldn't get in on the candle, gave them heat. Hard to believe it wasn't warm enough for them.
The meat birds I pulled ice cube trays to give to them in waterers, they have had 2 fans on them for a few weeks now.
Somehow, by the grace of God, not one of them died.

Ok guys, thanks for your nice words!

Hoppy, are these all the single comb birds you were talking to me about or do these have the correct rosecombs??

there are some of each.

BTW if you need a table, bring one. Also, apparently to set up, you can stop and ask Jerry, Cathy, Daryl...or see if there is a order, but we are able to drop off our birds and stuff in the pulling ring without having to "lug" it.
If anyone has Auctionable items, this money goes towards the club for future cages, judges and whatnots.
FYI- if folks don't want birds, they can donate them into the Auction or buy from the Auction.
To bid all you need to do is grab a bid number from Kathy, or Cathy, eeek, Kathy Hunnewell (ask a member, we will point you in the right direction! lol) and she writes you name beside the number so to keep track of us all.

I will be so looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new folks! ...I'm feeling brave, Mr. Scooter hooter is gonna bathe!

Hey guys, I'd love to bring my chicks to show off, the Brabanters, is there anything in the rules against that?
