Bathed my Silkie today and tried out a chicken diaper

Today I bathed my black Silkie, Luna, and put her polka dot diaper on her so she could sit in my lap while I work. Hopefully she'll get comfortable and fall asleep. Right now, she's just making her little peep noises. It took us a little while to figure out the diaper but I think it's on now. She was definitely awkward walking with it. At least she's all clean and good-smelling now!

Would love to see her with the diaper. I think the easy going birds are the most tolerant. I got my friend a chicken apron for her silkie and she said the bird went nuts, so she took it off - fearing it would have a stroke.

I would think you have to change the diaper so often it would get tiring fast. My friend just cleans up constantly after her house chickens and her house does NOT smell, so it must work for her.
