See what the humidity is without water in the incubator and just add a small container or shot glass of water if you need to up it a bit (it's surface area, not volume, that increases humidity). It shouldn't be below 25%. It will take awhile to stabilize so just wait a few hours and see where you are at.

Your eggs sound fine - normal for this stage of development. Just candle to see how your air cells are tracking which is quite important to do regularly. If they are looking too small go with lower humidity. Too large, add humidity. But I think you'll be just fine. You've still got lots of time to adjust if necessary. Eggs can be amazingly adaptable.
I just re-read this! Exactly what I needed to know! Thank you

What kind is it? Could the top be held open ever so slightly like someone suggested earlier or do you have air holes that could be opened? that could help lower humidity and temps if you can get some air circulating through. I think higher temps can cause the chicks to hatch a little earlier, not sure how high it needs to be to make a difference but might be worth bearing in mind. I think you're counting a day ahead so that might compensate for that anyway.

It is a Joenel I believe, I have the lid cracked open and that seems to be helping, do you count the day you put the eggs in the incubator or 24 hours after? I appreciate everyone’s help. I wish it had more vent holes but only one on top :/

I googled and there are a few different designs..... I'm wondering if you could use a couple of tooth picks or popsicle (?) sticks in the corners, if it has any, or just spaced around so you can lift the whole lid up just a fraction of an inch?

The day you set the eggs in the incubator is day 0, 24 hours later is day one, 48 hours is day 2 and so on if that makes sense?

Well that gives me a bit of relief, more time! Is the first incubation always this stressful! Lol
