bator setup

So I just picked up a LG incubator and getting things set up to attempt to hatch some eggs. Since I will only have about 10 eggs, is there a problem with removing the unused racks from the auto turner? My thought was to add water containers in the unused space since it sounds like that helps balance out temp swings.

getting psyched.....just got notification that my eggs have shipped. Should have 14 ready to go in early next week. I have my incubator up and running for the past couple days...and holding a steady 99.5. cant wait......
