bator vent holes

the smaller bators what size are the ventelation holes 1/2",3/4"diam I am try to build a homemade bator trying to knock down th R&D a little LOL thanks for any help

my LG has 2 vents 1/2" and in the center 6 smaller 1/8" holes in a 3-4" in circle (around the thermostat)
