Battery Hen Rescue

I have not posted in awhile. My flock has grown from 3 to 14 hens, who are loved so much. We are wanting to rescue Battery hens from egg farms. We love in Fredericksburg, VA. I have emailed countless rescues all the way to upstate New York to VA. No one has returned my emails. We just want to help. We are willing to build another coop and run if needed. Does anyone know of any rescues near me?

OMG me too! This has been such a frustrating experience, as we know where those 'spent' hens go. I don't understand why groups aren't networking with those of us trying to adopt. I've been looking for years now. I couldn't take it anymore so now I raise my own. I hope you find some! Please let us know if you succeed!
