~Battle for Survival~ A African Wild dog Roleplay

Omari dipped his head in acknowledgment and split apart from them. He stalked the weak antelope, moving slowly until he was close behind it. The antelope stumbled and began to run away from him. It was afraid, and he could smell it. By then the rest of the herd had scattered, fearing that they would be targeted.

Kala bolted forward, eager for the kill. She pursued it while nipping its heels. Obi quickly joined up but made a bolder move by trying to leap for its throat, but somehow managed to barely snag his teeth on its shoulder.

"Oh, do you think we should ask if anyone wants to join the new pack with us?"(I know real dogs they'd just go join a pack, I just want to have that!) Jake asked her, nudging her.

Nia's tail began to wave, "It doesn't hurt to ask." She stretched her shoulders and moved out of the den, starting off at a brisk trot.

Omari's ears rose so fast that his skull hurt. He surged forward, quickly moving up beside the antelope.

Obi lost his grip and fell to the ground. He got back up and sprinted to the others as quickly as he could. Kala saw Omari coming up, but was starting to tire. The thought of eating though pushed her forward.

Omari nipped at the terrified animal, turning it sharply left. With a sudden burst of speed he launched into the air, sinking his teeth into its hamstring. The antelope cried out and faltered. Crimson blood poured onto the dirt as the weak antelope futilely struggled to continue its flight despite the crippling wound.

Obi had caught up and leaped for its belly and tore his fangs through the flesh. Kala was trying to get a hold of a leg to trip it.
