Wow I missed a lot in a few days... new chicks, new eggs, Ziggy crowing! Congrats all!
We went to the Giant's FanFest today! TONS of people... even though tickets were free, it seems like they should have doled them out on line so folks knew to come or not...
they were announcing on the radio, before noon, for anyone not already there & in line to find somewhere else to go & watch it on TV/radio.
Lol I thought if we left by 0700 we'd be the first ones there.

Our chickens are happy & loving the warm weather, more eggs every day.

Time to make pancakes!

That's very true! With my phone I can take the picture, upload to Photobucket and then post here to BYC.

I hardly even use my computer anymore.

Well, splash colored plumage varies in how much ''blue splotching" there is from bird to bird. Much like how you have different shades of blue. My guess is the lighter, more blonde chicks will be a paler white/gray overall with softer blue markings and the darker gray chicks will be more heavily accented splash.

I do like the Dolly chick too... you should start calling her Jolene.

Guess whose wellies are laying! Jetta and Janneke are BOTH laying! And things seem to have settled down. DH held them today while I clipped a wing on each. So everybody got to out and freerange with DH "supervising".
