Hi guys
My Hatch from the 21st finally finished today. I swear I'd have 2 out and 2 would pip. All Marans, so I couldn't see anything. Just finished opening up the none hatchers and between lots of no starts and a few quiters, every chick that developed hatched. So I have 18 total. Mostly Cuckoos and 4 FBCMs from the eggs I won in Stockton. I'm a mess.
Got the bator cleaned out and locked down 21 more eggs. Wellies and Barneys and 3 Trader Joe's eggs. I need new batteries, so didn't candle anything but the TJ eggs and they seemed good to go.
I got eggs in the mail today, so I was talking to my mail carrier and she's keeping an eye out for Bon Jovi. I can hear him crow! Pierre and Regal crow and he answers, so he's near by. I got an answer to my CL ad and someone near me had 3 of his show birds stolen. He said it's been happening a lot lately. Just what I need. Anyway we are both going to the auction on Monday to check the barn to see if they show up there. Let me find my bird there and I'm whippin butt! Someone won't be walking away from that auction.
Anyway I should have another order of eggs tomorrow, so waiting till Saturday to set the ones I got today and all that I've collected from my own girls. I have 3 Game, 1 Silkie and 1 FBCM in the bator now from my girls. I found eggs after all these months and they went straight into the bator. Really bad memory, cause I forget what eggs are on the way. More Wellies maybe??? Don't remember. LOL I got B/B/S AMs today. Won 6 and got 9 and 2 OE from her BCM thrown in.
I have a Game with some serious issues. I posted somewhere yesterday about how she climbed into the bag of shavings that was sitting next to the nest boxes. Bought a bunch at auction and just now getting around to using them. Since they run all over the yard and have laid on the porch I figured I'd set two boxes up for them. Bella's not having anything to do with those boxes. They were fine until she discovered the bag. Today she was making all kinds of racket, walking back and forth in from of the boxes, getting under my feet and I couldn't chase her away, so tried to figure out what was up. Light bulb went on and I grabbed the ag from the garage. She complained about how I set it down and was tossing shavings at me, so I moved it a bit and pulled a side up. She jumped in, let me pet her while she was in there and I left her. Ten minutes later I went out and got the egg, put the bag up and watched her drink water. Have to mark all of her eggs, because technically she's Makayla's.
OK I need to welcome someone new!
Depending on when you are doing that order on the AMs, I can order a few. I need LF though. Hmm. Maybe could get some bantams??? Nope LF. Anyway I have to see how money works out, but I need a few more.
Guess that's it for chapter 5211.

Fyi, I checked and they are sold out of LF Lavender Ameraucanas, and I think just have some wheatens left. I dont have bantams except silkies, or I would have ordered, they look really nice. Pictures this weekend, promise...Dad's back in the hospital for a third operation today - 3rd one in 3 weeks, so that's my focus
I got 18 eggs and 11 hatched, so only 60% but pretty good on shipped eggs.

Pictures this weekend, promise...Dad's back in the hospital for a third operation today - 3rd one in 3 weeks, so that's my focus
I got 18 eggs and 11 hatched, so only 60% but pretty good on shipped eggs.

It's a bit early, but I'm not that surprised. when I incubated my BWs last year I had a couple early arrivals then too. Hopefully I will be posting chick pictures by this evening!

I just got a text message, 1 chick zipped and is out, cheeping in the incubator!!!
The other egg that went into lockdown has pipped, I'm hoping when I get home around 4 this afternoon it will have hatched, too.
