Bay Area BYCers!

Thanks for posting the pic of Bubba! Nice to see his fluffy self.

Sunny, how is your Black Am rooster different? Clark Kent is very similar to Bubba. Bubba was always huge, so no surprise that he towers over the girls. Clark Kent has also gotten quite large, although whattheflocks' Australorp hen is almost as big.

Hey, Jeremy! Are those our olive eggers or are you still waiting to get them?

Debi, these are another batch of eggs that I ordered from ruth, I received a message from Wynette today saying she was going to ship our Olive Eggers next Monday, so they will hatch about a week later, unfortunately.

Wynette said her girls just started laying so there really was no way she could get them to me sooner. Will this be okay for you?

I just got an email saying that my Blue Wheaten Ameraucana and Heritage RIR chicks from Paul Smith will be here tomorrow by noon!!! I've already taken my brooder down from my test hatch, the chicks that went to Anna B and another BYCer, I'm gonna have to set it up again tonight. I'm excited!

Dawn and Debi, I have a total of 8 Blue Wheaten eggs in my incubator plus another 3 under a broody hen at Daphne's family's house, those that hatch from these eggs will be y'alls babies!

Mostly his tail but Poppy's head looks a little different too. He has a tuft of fluff that I wish weren't there at the base of his tail and He is jet black with a beetle green sheen but Bubba may be also. Sometimes pics don't show the colors well.

Here's a pic from a couple of months back.

Poppy looks really good! Maybe that tuft will go away with his first moult. Clark has a very long tail, but not as flat as Bubba's. More upright with a big arch. I'll try to remember to take my camera next time I'm up visiting whattheflock.

Yes please do! I'd love to see pics of Clark! I do hope that tuft will dissapear with his first moult. I'm told it probably will along with the couple of light colored feathers in his wings.
