Bay Area BYCers!

thanks steff and everyone! I'll keep you posted - new avatar - me with my gorgeous coronation rooster - I love him to pieces he's such a love bug

Yes I'll put up an auction, but just worried because I'm so picky about who I sell my birds and chicks too...

Love that...thanks I needed that...but hmmm maybe some of that is not a bad idea, it is my right as a seller, correct?

Same as when someone wants to buy some of my chicks and low-balls me on the price (thus making me feel like they don't respect the love and care I put into my hatchlings) or can't give me information about how they will take care of them.

Food for thought!!

YAY! Selling my GQF tomorrow for funds to build a coop! ( I actually like the incubators I made better anyway.)

I really want to breed quality birds, and be able to show, so I need to decide on one breed to focus on and hopefully be able to make better. I'm looking at GLW's or Partridge Wyandottes from Pauls Poultry, He says his GLW's still need perfecting, so I would have room to better them, But I LOVE his partridge Wyandottes! Bill loves Penciling, so I think he would really like the Partridge. What do you guys think?

Hi all! I'm new to the forum, located in Solano county, and have been reading your posts here for the last week or so... I'm starting to feel like I'm eavesdropping, so I thought I should actually say "Hi!", and Cheryl- that sucks that a neighbor complained about the noise!!

I really don't like one of my neighbors, but they do put up with my noisey Guineas calling all hours of the day!

I agree completely with you, Jeremy !!

Cheryl, let's see what will develop; yes, I would be very much love to adopt (i.e. buy) your Clio and her friend ...

Second, I hope there's a way for you to be able to hold on to more of your breeders and not have to give that part up. I still say the Today Show!

Third, I know a guy, that knows a guy, that knows a guy. Which neighbor was it?

Since you have rare breeds and heritage breeds, wouldn't that look like they would be interfering with the restoration of a breed, where the breed is knowledgable and has been involved with the project? One that even the Today Show had done a story on?

Just a shot. But always good to take a shot than not.

Wanted to add that I may be interested in your Wellie pullet.
