LOOKING FOR PULLETS

I'm taking five of my 3 1/2 months old over to my friends house that has cancer. I have a welsummer, splash marans, barred olive egger, blk mottled java, & blue cochin. She is so excited to have these beautiful pullets to look at, as she is so so sick.

I'd like to give her a more rounded color mix or hens and eggs.

Is there a chance that anyone has an easter egger or ameraucana AND a buff orpington that are 3 1/2 months or so that I can buy for her???

If you want to do the super touristy stuff there's the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Pier 39, Fishermen's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, the Embarcadero, the Castro, Mission Dolores, you could ride a trolley, visit the painted ladies, uhh... there's tons more I'm sure!

That's all only in San Francisco, Oakland and the rest of the East Bay still has lots to offer.

unfortunately I lost him about two weeks ago

I suppose I could bring my lemon cuckoo Orp boy. I explained to his sitter that yes she MUST pick him up and hand feed him his treat otherwise he WILL peck her shoes. I probably should have warned her that he demands to ride on your shoulder too, with a serama on the other

What a wonderful friend you are! I hope your friend finds peace and strength with her new chickens! I wish I could help you, I have family in SF and San Jose but none of them have chickens. Good luck!!!!

I love to have visitors do this easy hike:

http://sanfrancisco.about.com/od/environmentnature/qt/landendtrail.htm

Plan to take a few hours, if you can, and visit the Legion of Honor museum and eat at the Charthouse....PM me if you have any questions after looking over the link. Basically this walk is along the bluffs overlooking the ocean, the golden gate bridge, then a museum stop, then walking some more, then the Charthouse for drinks or food.....and more great views. Then walk back to your car. It is AWESOME for views.

I park on 32nd and California streets, then walk toward the ocean (about 1-2 blocks) until you see the trailhead, then start onto the trial heading toward the Legion of Honor museum.
