I made an album of updated photos of my English Blue, Black and Splash Orpington chicks.

The Blue and Black cockerels will need new homes, they are amazing birds from actual English stock. I probably will pair them with a pullet in order to find homes for the boys easier. Keep an eye out for the listing under BST, though first dibs will go out to my friends in the Bay Area, I would not want to have to ship these special ones.

My husband sells his cinnamon flavored creamed honey (honey from his Sonoma beehives) @ $5.00 jar. Maybe we can swap you 1 1/4 dozen eggs?? We'll talk about it .. BTW, there is an Oakland Beekeepers' Association if you're interested in setting up beehives someday.

Possibly, possibly. Internet access is an issue there. They use that Clearchannel crap. It's slower than dial-up & it just wouldn't do for my job (I'm a telecommuter.... I can live where I want... my company's in Oklahoma... I just need high-speed internet access).

I also hope your little chickie doesn't turn out to be a roo! Where'd you get her? I am in the market for a marans (just not a cuckoo marans). Are there good chicken sources in the Merced area? There are certainly a lot of feed stores.​
