Me too. I might be able to go if it's November.

GRRrrr MY Blehm Wheaties are not laying blue...more like pale green. Pretty much the color of Lanae's Auracana eggs we saw last Tuesday on her table.

The 1st is a Tuesday. Are you shooting for mid-week?? What about Saturday the 5th of NOV?

If we're doing November 5, that's OK for this year, but I think next year's and other annual met ups should be a bit earlier, going back to an October date, when it is just a bit cooler than the summer months...or maybe in April/May for chick swaps

ETA: I was a bit tired last night when looking at calendar dates, I did actually mean the 5th or 6 th.

Just heard back from Sara at Sienna Ranch. I don't mean to be difficult but I really think you guys would fall in love with it. They are putting in a whole permaculture farming area, rainwater collection etc. Maybe I can trade some chicken services and get someone to do a talk on something our whole group would enjoy. I'm installing a water reclamation system for my birds over there and I'm working with the permaculture person there to design it. This might be fun for others.

Oct 30th Saturday is open and we'd probably still have great weather, also like I said there is shelter at the picnic tables. If someone want to meet me at the ranch to check it out today, I'm happy to help. It's $50 an hour

Parking right at the ranch.

I can start working on donations too, anyone want to help me? Sounds like a few buff-laced brahmas may be on the donation list!
