Bay Area BYCers!

Had a great time yesterday & for those that missed ,I am sorry, maybe next time.
Thank you for all your efforts Jeremy/Carlos & Cheryl/Larry. It was nice turnout & so much fun meeting new people in person. I loved the pictures that some had of the birds & Tammy's coop. It is so inspiring to see what others have.
I am already looking forward to the Stockton show. The last one was when I picked up eggs to hatch & got some nice BCMs out of them thanks to Harris5 in Colfax. This time I hope to be able to take birds for sale in the sales barn.
My new Orpingtons I brought home from Jeremy are settled in their temporary pen out front & the chicks I brought home from Cheryl for Maragret are in the brooder all toasty until she gets here tonight to pick them up.
Debi I am so glad Monet & Olivia found each other. They seemed to hit it off.
Tammy I loved your cookies & there was another really good one too. I will look for your recipe on line.
Such a nice time for the country gal.
Look forward to the next time.

Karen you are the best chick/chicken/rooster transporter around. Especially nice to know that both our cars have similar amounts of feathers, chicken feed and poo in them!! Makes me feel much better!

THANKS AGAIN

Glad to help. As to the car thing.............I don't have great attachments to "things" & that, as you see goes for my car too. It is simply a means of getting me where I want to go..............LOL I have been so lucky to have been able to do sooooo many things & experience so much. I love it when I am able to share that love of "doing" with others. I may be alot slower atdoing them now adays but I still have the will to try......LOL

Great chickenstock yesterday. Thanks for the organizing, Jeremy and all the great stuff for the raffle, Cheryl! It was nice meeting folks, some for the first time.

So fun hearing about the great time everyone had. So much work to put together and even though I wasn't there, I just wanted to thank Jeremy/Carlos & Cheryl/Larry (and anyone else who helped), it's been fun watching it all go together and see the efforts just so everyone could have a day to say Hi and talk chicken!

I'm having back surgery in SF in the next couple of weeks and I was so hoping it would have been scheduled so that I could have been there. Maybe next year (not the back surgery, the Chickenstock!

Thanks for posting pictures, would be great if someone would add screen names to the pictures. Anna, cute picture of you with Buffy, you should use it as your avatar. I'm going to get a picture of me with one of mine. I like Cheryls and Sunnys where you can put a face with the name.

Sorry you didn't get to stay. I'm trying to get something together for after the first of the year out towards the Valley. It's really not as far as people think, so maybe you can make it. And you really want to go to the show in Stockton in January Trust me. You reeeeally want to go.

BTW... I have several things listed in the first post on the California thread if any of you are interested in attending more bird events.

Thanks wolftracks! I've been to the Stockton show once before....Loved it! I just might need to attend again!

I'm definitely up for heading out to the Valley. It isn't a stretch for me. We have friends out in Oakdale, so trek through that area on occasion. I'll check out the CA thread.

I would have snatched them and ran! Good thing I didn't make it to the gathering. I'd have been ban forever for chicken stealing! Their names are perfect!
