cool! I went into lockdown and the very next night had two hatch..it's funny how some hatch so early and some late.

So out of 10...So far 6 have hatched and 1 more has pipped nothing yet from the other 3 but they weren't due to hatch until tomorrow So with that said just have to be patient.

Also what size bulb should I use. I have a cool plastic storage bin indoors for my brooder

I got a trio of Favs at the auction the other day. I actually had the option to take 4-5 trios and a quad, but lack of space made me settle for one trio. They are soo pretty but have no idea of the lineage.

Two weeks ago I bought a pair of pigeons. I hadn't had those since I was a teenager. They were just so cool looking I had to have them. LOL Now I need a loft too.

I have a pic of the hen (I hope) in the pigeon forum. They are so cool looking.

You need to be out here with me. 4 bucks at my feed store. I like the red ones.

Yea in the brooder what w I got a 150w heat bulb with a dimmer would that work?

This chicks beak is out and huge pip, but it's not moving!

Just had this same thing happen and lost a hatch. I don't know what's going on.

There's no movement from this chick. The pip is big! I can see the beak, but absolutely no movement for over an hour now. No others doing anything. Humidity is at 72. I tried lower like 60-68 before and had chicks stuck in the shell. The ,membrane on this one looks like it is shrinking but don't know how if have the humidity up there. Last 2 hatches did fine with these numbers.

Going to bed and hoping something will happen by morning, but I think I lost this first one.
