Does anyone have suggestions for a good location for a chicken class in the Santa Rosa area?

Sonoma County Fairgrounds - in Santa Rosa has all kinds of buildings/barns available for rent....
Vets Building (right across from Fairgrounds)
Is Rohnert Park close enough? 4H Center - rent goes to a good cause
Maybe try some of the local elementary schools? I know our 4h club rents out the gym once a month at Gravenstein Elementary, and we have had all sorts of animals in there.

Just a few places that come to mind right away, if I think of more I will add to list

I edited my initial message to say poultry instead of chicken.

I mentioned the fairgrounds and Walt said that would cost money. So I'm thinking that he would rather hold it somewhere without a fee.

I don't know. A few of us are trying to talk Walt into giving a class. It's only in the planning stage at this point.

Well, lets talk - I certainly have room, but my flock free ranges all over my front yard...aka the front pasture as well as the back area. I am not sure how I would feel about birds on the property that aren't mine. People would be ok though parking for about 10 cars. Who is this Walt guy anyway??? I am not sure he could find my house!

Is there a park or someplace we can just meet? Something? I'm still waiting to hear back about a place, but nothing yet.

Doesn't have to be anything that costs money and we could do a potluck or something during a break or afterwards.

Sorry I can be of no help.................My little hand held Garmin is the only thing that got me to the Hierloom Expo at Santa Rosa last Sept & it will get me to wherever you guys tell me to go ( what an opportunity.......LOL) & I will bring some chicken lovin' friends with me.
