I feel so incredibly fortunate... Let the breeding begin!!!! I'm getting kelly's-happy chooks two silver pencilled plymouth rocks that are from Wynette's eggs! OMg can you believe how gorgeous these 9 mth olds are. Also looks like I have a roo coming in February from Wynette or this next week from another source that has wynettes roos (still working out details)!!
Oh you lucky chick! What gorgeous girls they are! Their patterns look similar to a dark brahma one of my girlfriends has. They look sooooo sweet. Congrats, Cheryl.
thanks, I am so so lucky! It has been one amazing chicken week.
Tonight another byc member is picking up my two gorgeous 2 mth old blue copper marans roos - she has pullets and wants to breed them! and also picking up the 4 wheaten ameraucanas chicks I have. They went really fast, people know quality.
And then Kellys birds and now I'm getting another BYC's SPPR roo/s to use for breeding. It is so much fun when we can establish friendships with other breeders, we can easily trade birds, eggs and it's all effortless because we all love what we do!!! I'm stoked
and it was so cool to find out they needed the blue copper marans from greenfire because they have pullets that they want to breed...woohoo win win win
woohoo I'm so glad you like it! Can't wait to see your new pics!
I just picked up IMO are the most gorgeous birds from Kelly/happy chooks. She gave me her two silver penciled plymouth rocks! oh man I'm in love. Pics tomorrow. And I also got the most adorable playhouse on craigslist on the way up to kellys! Ultimately this will have a run attached and house Kelly's test olive eggers that I hatched, woohoo
