Yea they are...I've heard mixed things from people about their eggs some people with great hatches some not so much

Holey Moley you really caught the incubating bug, didn't you?!

Where did you get your eggies? Penedesencas are GREAT birds, I plan on getting some of the Wheaten variety in the springtime.

Olives came from sonew123 I was bidding on some even darker ones got out bid last second made me so anxious....yes bad hatching bug. So bad I ordered a Brisnea octagon with all the expensive eggies in it...so now I'm up to 4 incubators thinking of getting rid of my LG cuz it drives me batty.

I have 4 also, I have one that is not reliable so I only use it if I need to take hatched chicks out.

I'm ordering another plain ol' Hovabator 1588, it'll put me at a total of 3.

They've been reliable for me, with decent hatch rates for shipped eggs (75%-80% success) and they don't cost a fortune. Yes you do have to monitor them to ensure accurate levels of temperature and humidity... but who doesn't keep their nose glued to the incubator anyways?
