They are all tucked into their new temporary brooder. It's too dark to get pics now but I will try to get some tomorrow.

They were perfect angels all the way home, even cooing and trilling for us to let us know they were happy. Such lovely boys these two are!

Awwwwww. DH and I want to thank you again for being so lovely and giving them a wonderful home. Glad to hear they were so good for you.

Oooh, that would be fun! I put in for time off at work on 3/22 so I'll be available to pick up our new little ones. I'm so looking forward to having babies here again!

Well my Dutch friend Guido says maybe they're named after Jip and Janneke with Jip changed to Jette due to Jip being a boy. I would love to hear whether that's the case. Or if there's another story to find out about Jette. Thank you so much. I'm really looking forward to them.

Absolutely correct! Right down to the gender change!!

Clio, we didn't meet this time as Rob ended up not coming. Some other time?!?

just found this good article on showing in another thread.... for Cheryl & all showing at Stockton

I got panicked about Biosecurity & am actually still looking for info beyond this link.

I don't handle them as much as I should pre-show, it seems. The one I took last year was perfectly happy, but he was hand raised. I hope mine behave this year!

You are my hero thanks so much. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on regarding the show and showing. I got a call from the legendary Walt Leonard and he had talked about one of the most important ares is to cage train them, so I went out and got a few small wire dog kennels and plan to start working on it this week. Thanks again

Also just had Paul - from Pauls rare poultry build me this awesome new run - currently for babies growing out, but will soon be the permanent home for the wheaten marans breeding flock (I'll probably build a new coop in the spring for them, as they will need more roosts and laying boxes.

I know you guys get bored seeing my silver penciled Plymouth rocks, but I just adore them - just hooked up with legendary Dick Horstman this morning and I'll be getting some of his eggs in march in addition to more eggs from Wynette...Happy Day!
