I just added another Blue Wheaten Ameraucana egg along with another Buff Laced Polish X Ameraucana egg to the bator! So there's now a total of 6 Ameraucana and 2 Polish X cookin'.

I've been looking for my info and for the life of me can't remember who the breeder is and he's well know.

Man this getting old stuff sucks!

Did you pick up anything good at the auction?

I really want to get some Wellies from Whitmore Farms, Will has really done great with his Welsummer flock and is producing some terrific birds.

BUT, there is a 25 chick minimum and I couldn't possibly handle that many more chicks...

Getting eggs from a breeder who bought eggs and birds just started laying. I get the 2 dozen that didn't fit in his bator.



oops forgot

The breeder didn't show, but she called me and will be there next week. I may not go if I'm able to go to the cemetery, so might have to meet her before or after at Casa de las Fruitas. I love it there, but might be rough since Bill and I liked it.

Anyway, I didn't stay very long today, but long enough to get a covered litter box for dusting the fluffy butts and .......ummm... can't believe I let her get it, but Makayla got another rabbit. She did the bidding herself and got it for 2 bucks. Just what I needed.

Wynette and I have a call scheduled with Robert Blosl-heritage breed guru on thursday. We are going to strategize with him abou the best direction. He's not convinced that breeding to other rocks is the way to go... we'll see....
