Bay Area BYCers!

I do too! I always loved it when I could find out what was available locally and get a deal on something I wanted from someone I felt more connected to. I was shocked when we got in trouble on the other thread! I'd had no idea it was against the rules.

I was just trying to give y'all a heads up in case we get hollered at again. But trust me, I won't be the one that tells!

I'm pretty sure it's ok to ask if someone has something you need and then do the rest through PMs but I'm afraid to ask at this point since I'd rather claim ignorance. Is that terrible of me?

I just know I'm gonna get yelled at again for admitting this.

I just thought that was "networking" with locals in our area...

Me too! They must have had some problems related to this or they wouldn't have set it up this way.

Oh AnnaR! It just dawned on me that I forgot to post the pics I took of Clark and Marlon for you and since those are old now I took more today. Looks like Marlon is going to have a gorgeous tail one day! It is already so big and full. I may just have to keep him after all!

That means I have to build another coop and run area though...

This is the only normal pic I got of the 2 of them...

The others are variations of this...

They were enjoying the sun and dirt today and wouldn't hold still.

Sorry they are not in better focus, they love it behind that rose bush (hiding from the big girls) and the camera kept focusing on the branches instead of them.

Oh thank you for the pictures. Marlon is *gorgeous*. And Clark is pretty handsome as well. Glad the boys are working out for you. Cheryl - you hatch beautiful birds. I'm looking forward to seeing what beautiful babies these boys make!

In other news, does anyone know anything about favus (the fungus)? I'm thinking one of my chickies may have it in her comb. (At least, I hope that's all it is!) I posted a pic in the diseases section. If anyone knows about it, can you go take a look? If that's what it is, I can start treating with lotrimin.

All the chickens are looking healthy and happy (even the one with the funky comb). I'll have to get a current pic of Jane so Cheryl can see one of her other hatchlings. Once my phone re-charges...

Anna, I actually agree with what Cynthia posted on the other thread, it looks just like someone has been nipping at your girls comb, not necessarily a disease.

Thanks jeremy.

I felt so embarrassed

that they might have gotten some fungus in their new home! It's clean. It's dry. I just was so scared that it could be something awful and didn't want to just leave it go without finding out.

So now what? Is there something I should be doing to stop it getting worse? If so, what? And if it's something like the famous "bluecoat" - where do I get that?
