Well, I have already found a home for them, with another BYCer.

However, I have call duck eggs in two incubators (not laid by mine, I hatched those four and they're too young, yet) which I set before the landlady's edict. So, if I am lucky in hatching, I will have call ducklings who will also need homes.

I am posting here and on the N. Cal thread in hopes that someone has a female duck they would part with. I have two drakes and a duck, and would like to even them out. I worry for poor Lois.

Oh, he's great. Very nice, never flogs, and watches over his girls when they go out to graze. He is pretty loud at times, so I am sure you could not have gotten away with keeping him. I have some of his potential babies in the bater - just put them in last Saturday. I candled them last night - I could see veins in two of the light green ones, but I can't tell with the dark green ones from my favorite hen. I'm doing this for the first time, wanted to try it before I get some BBS eggs and pay a lot for them. I will post pics if they hatch!

Clark Kent turned out to be a beauty, and also a docile gentleman. whattheflock has him. sadly, he has no Black Am pullets, so no babies there. If anyone has any extras, please let me (or him) know.
