I was just thinking ahead if Cheryl's two had little fluffy balls, that would be cute, since she sort of got the name idea that's similar to mine ... actually, I also waiting for my friend to have Araucanas hatchings = she got a pullet from the gal in Ukiah and another pullet at the Stockton show.

Nothing about chicks hatching from Lorie yet ..

Daphne, I haven't heard from Lorie yet either. I do hope she gets a couple to hatch.

What color Araucanas does your friend have? I've considered adding a few to my layer flock, I think the breed is beautiful. If I had more room I would most definitely raise a flock of them as well.

Well the chicks haven't made it to Oakland yet.

I just called my PO to confirm their pick up sometime today and they said they had not arrived at my local branch or at the sorting facility in West Oakland. There was mention of some delay do to bad weather, I just hope that the babies get here soon.
