Thank you. He's better looking in person. He's young yet and I can't wait to see what he looks like when he matures.

Hi Laurie,

We never have tipped any of the guys who load the feed, shavings, etc. I think Larry takes pretty good care of his workers, and hires even some who might be not hired elsewhere.

However, I do try to park near where the supply might be coming from - e.g. shavings > I park near the load of shavings, sunflower seeds > near the supply barn; sometimes they use a dolly, sometimes the guys just carry it.

And, I do say thank you! And hello/hi when I enter WF ... then I go to the office to yak with Larry, one of the owners

Sunny, Clark has great coloring! I don't know how many Black "Coppers" I've seen with bleached, straw colored hackles. But he has a good deep coppery color to him. Very nice!

Who's line is he from?

Does he always hold his tail at that height, or is it just the angle in the picture?

He was one of Cheryl's babies from the Adams line of BCMs I believe. I got him from AnnaRaven. Cheryl could tell you more. All I know is he came from a super dark egg and I am ALL about egg color so I was thrilled to get him! He's a sweetie too!

Oh, in that second pic his tail was being blown toward his head by the wind. We get a lot of wind in Reno so it's hard to get photos without the bird's feathers being ruffled.

It's hard to tell what he'll look like when he's mature since his long tail feathers have just started to grow out.

I have been thinking about her all day, too. I've never even met her, but she has given a lot to BYC and to fellow BYCers. She strikes me as a really good person who has a true reverence and respect and love for her birds. I hope things work out well for her.

Thanks for the tip on the bedding, Laurie! I feel so far away visiting my mom here in FL! (Remember her from Cheryl's picnic, everyone???

I had made jokes about her coming 3,000 miles just to get dragged to a "chicken picnic"! (she loved it...!)

Positive thinking.

She nailed her presentation and is celebrating

She got good news from the city and she's celebrating.

Both went well and she celebrated and passed out!
