Bay Area BYCers!

I only like a few cats, but Ragdolls are one of my favorites. Almost wish I had the space.

I hope you find another wonderful home for these Cheryl.

I'm so sorry your friend is to the point of giving up her pets. They make you feel better, but when you get to the point you can't care for them that has to be a really hard thing to let them go.

So are you taking care of Sharon's flock Cheryl?

I couldn't imagine having to give up my loved pets. It's a wonderful thing that you're doing for her by helping her have a small flock.

Cheryl,

That is so funny as I have two cats who are the same breed and could be their twins. Super cute and mellow guys....very laid back. But since we now have two cats and two dogs (since we were the lucky ones who adopted Maxx), I know I can't take them too.

Quick Maxx update, he went to the vet and got a check up on Wednesday and he is really turning out to be a great dog for our family. Really a love bug. We discovered that he knows how to "shake" hands and he is very good with other dogs and people. Its obvious that he was loved with Sharon and I hope she doesnt miss him too much.

The cats are tempting.....someone will get lucky.

Anna

Thanks Kim, yes that's what they need... oh for the days of local banks with local money, not investors overseas who don't care what happens to the people who have loved & cared for that property for 40 years or so.
Yes it has been posted, on their blog, and a few realtors', and I posted it here a month or so ago when people were talking about moving to more land.
They got saved today, by a good friend, and have a month (not very long, really) to come up with a buyer. If I had the $ I'd buy it.
Have a good weekend all

I'm in need of some quick help. Need to borrow an incubator from someone. I am located down in the south bay (Morgan Hill/Gilroy area). I ordered eggs from 2 people I got one set today and the other person totally forgot to ship my eggs and those eggs are coming from FL. Now I'm in a dilemma. I don't want to let these current eggs sit for another week and take the chance of losing fertility on them. So I am looking for a 2nd incubator to be able to use as a hatcher when the time comes. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate. And for the inconveince of letting me use your incubator I'd be willing to give you 2 chicks. Please get back to me asap to let me know if you can help out. If you do have one please PM me as I will get the message quicker. Just so you know chicks I will be hatching out are Ameraucana's and Silkies. You can have one of each or if you want 2 of the same breed that would work too.

Thanks
Kim

What color Ameraucana? When do you expect you'll need the incubator and how many eggs will it need to hold?
