I am making my hard choices & would like to get a decent price for the ones I am letting go. I have a group of BLRW, Barnvelders, White Marans, Blue Andalusians, & 2 or 3 others I am trying to decide on. It is so hard. I want them all, but the feed bill is a killer........LOL

So, Karen, are you saying that Sat Oct 22 is better for you?

Yes, that or the 16th but I am just one person so whatever works best for the most should be the deciding fact.

I'm going to try to have enough done to move my Pene roo out of the bantam Wellie pen and movce 2 bantam Wellie roos in with the girls. Every chick I got to try and get darker eggs with my bantams was a cockerel. I swear I'm cursed!

I have a bunch of quail hatching at the moment. They were due yesterday, but then I thought about it and I have set them late in the day. I only checked the hatcher to see if it was a complete bust and I have about 9 in there. Hope I get more.

As for dates, 15th or 16th are better, with Sunday the 23rd okay. Satyrday the 22nd, I am busy and can't really make it.

I am good with either place too.....Just point me in a direction & I will be there if the date is clear. I just talkedto Bridgett Little & Jim Salle. They will both be selling at the J.S. West Sale. Bridgett has so many breeds & shows regularly & Jim is a show judge & will have his birds there too. I will be the new girl(haha) & small potatoes compared to them but am looking forward to it.Iam buying birds from both of those breeders.

I'm going down to Bridget's place on the 2nd Karen, I'm going to get a few White Ameraucanas and some of her Black Sumatra for my future Sumatra project. I'm very excited!

Well the count is actually 8 and nothing else happening. I set 67, they were due yesterday or today, but nothing ever hatches late for me. If they're in there, they'll either hatch soon or be DIS. I can't candle these things, so have no idea how many are viable. I even have dark mauve eggs, almost purple.
Not going to be able to get things off the ground if I don't do better than this.
