Bay Area BYCers!

They should not take long to sell. The sales area is usually pretty well run Jeremy. Check it out...you may feel comfortable about leaving them once you check that out.

Walt

Walt, I think I might already have a few potential buyers lined up. I really don't want to be stuck in the sale barn all day, I want to go check out the birds that are being exhibited!

Hi there! I just joined today. First forum ever! I live in Moraga and have 7 hens. For those looking for (sort of) local feed and supply shops, there is one in Alamo as well. I have read mixed reviews but I have always had helpful, friendly service there. I'll try and post a few pics later of the crew.

Take care,
Howdy neighbor, I am in Orinda, and Cheryl (Omelet Ranch) is in Lafayette. Let's hear it for Lamorinda chicken lovers! Welcome to BYC!!!

OMG! Jeremy that is the cutest thing!!!!

BTW, you'll be surprised to see how well they run the barn. Those birds won't last long, maybe not even in the door before you sell them. But, they are so good at running things, there's no reason to worry and miss other things. You can also put your cell # on the holding cages and get calls from buyers. Just breath. And bring me that chick! LOL

I would like everyone to meet Jessica, my Swedish Flower Hen chick.

I'm pretty sure she's a pullet and I think she is just about the cutest chick I have ever seen.

How adorable!!!! Love her uniqueness!!! Now I really wish that I had bought some of those chicks that I saw on Craig's List!!!

Hey Pet Rock,

Thistle Down Farms in Davis sells these for 19.00 each. They also have hatching eggs sometimes.

Davis is not far from you.

Thanks for the info, Ron! Now if I can figure out a way to slip them into my flock without DH noticing!

So, the secret is to just add more birds!!! I'm all for that!

Deb I'm shocked you hadn't figured that out already. I think I got about 50 birds past Bill. Although, the Silkies were a little noticible. But you could say one of your's morphed and you don't knw what happen to it's head.
