Bay Area BYCers!

I am new here and live in the Bay Area. It is cool there is a lot of members that live in the Bay Area. I am hoping to meet some of you guys in person in the future. At this time, I am trying to get a Muscovy drake and having so such luck.

We have meet ups several time a year, sometimes bigger events and sometimes smaller ones. There's a group of us that usually puts together a big "regional" Bay Area meet up where we try to get lots of chicken folk to come. We had the last one this past November, a little late in the year but it ended up being a really good time. I would like to plan the next big get together for the end of July or early August... if we can work with everyone's schedule.

I had coffee last weekend with boogiedog, it was a good time too!

If none of your English Buff Orpingtons hatch I will give you more eggs too. I know that big guy is gettin busy & I am hoping some of the eggs I have in the incubator hatch too.

Karen, thank you. It's been a depressing week. I was literally sick after losing the juvies we did and work has just been ridiculous.

The dark egg is from my Wheaten Marans girl. She consistently gives me an egg that dark and it is a BIG egg. It's always jumbo sized. I love her and her beautiful eggs.

I would like some more Buff eggs eventually!

Is anyone breeding golden seabrights in the bay area? I would love to add a few to my new flock that is arriving from MPC in early April.

I have a contact for SQ Golden Sebrights, he's not in the Bay Area but he's in Northern, CA. If you want to send me your email address I can let him know you're looking for birds.

Did we give up on the idea of a spring meet up?
