Yes, we are definitely in the no roo zone in Danville! Under the radar chickens all the way! We have great neighbors, thankfully!

I wish I cold give you some, but my girls aren't laying yet. And, of course, we won't be able to keep our roo much longer. I sure would love to see some little silkie mixes, but I wont be hatching anything. I'm assuming you are in a no-roo area of Danville?

Jeremy! Mine too, but thankfully just my two little silkie girls. They take turns being broody! They have been separated due to some bullying by my black astralorp and are residing in a very spacious dog crate at the moment. And although the black astralorp picks on one of them they must have convinced all the birds to lay their eggs in the crate cause my one little silkie came out for some special meal worm treats and she had been sitting on a pile of 6 large breed eggs mixed with some silkie eggs.....industrious and sneakly little girl! And here I thought the big girls were just taking a break!

The tickets for the Tour de Cluck chicken coop tour in Davis on May 26 are on sale now! Here is a link where you can buy them. Kids under 11 are free! Yeah! They sell out of tickets very quickly so if you are planning on going, get them now! We missed out last year and I'm determined to go this year! Anyone want to join me???

YEAH!!!! I signed up for 2 adults and of course Monet will be going with us. George says that he will come with us but he is going to pick the next special event that we go to and it's going to be a beer festival. Oh boy!

I am hoping to be riding a bike but need to fix one of these old ones around here! If Oli wants to ride with us, she is welcome to!

Debi! Thanks for posting the info!! I bought my ticket although I'll have to be joining Karen as one of the car kids.....I found out I have a torn miniscus and am under a Doctor's care, but don't think a bike will be a good idea by May 26th!!! Hope to see you around and about Davis!!!

Yeah!!!! We will have to plan to meet at least for lunch! So sorry to hear about your torn miniscus. I hope that you recover quickly!
