Bay Area - California 13 Week Old "Green Queen" Rooster Needs A Home

Our sexed female green queen turned out to be a boy. We're sad, as he was one of our favorites. We have a small backyard flock of 12 chickens, all raised from day old chicks ordered from MyPetChicken. We were holding out hope she would be a pullet but the feathering is starting to make it clear he is in fact a boy. Free to a good home.

He's very friendly, hand raised with a lot of attention from my kids. He will make a great addition to your flock and is a good looking young roo.

First two pics are him at a few weeks.
Third is at 8 weeks.
The rest are today; 13 weeks.

Why don’t you keep him 12 girls is plenty for a rooster and he looks well behaved. I would take him but I live in Vermont and roosters are not always in my area

We would absolutely keep him if roosters were allowed here. Unfortunately they’re illegal.

Unfortunately, in some places (like where I live) roosters aren't allowed at all due to things like noise concerns. If I lived closer (and somewhere that allowed roos), I'd definitely take him. He's beautiful
