Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! Golly, I have to meet my posting quota so I can post about photos of our Light Brahma who, I fear, is a cockrel. It's been smooth sailing up til now but oh boy, this will be a doozie!

As for the home search, we're looking into rehabbing a dilapidated Victorian. Hard times are ahead (and harder still if little Eggberta is actually an Eggbert....)
