Thanx everyone for the great comments.
I have to say...it was a true labor of love. I think I broke a finger while building it but I am not sure. It's been at least a month since I got it caught in a bind and felt the excruciating pain (followed by an odd warm feeling).
It has that sharp and lightening quick bruised feeling at the tip of the left index when I put pressure on it.. kinda like electricity is being jolted into it. But the girls (wife too) are enjoying the coop.

With all the fuss, maybe I can let it out like the Lincoln bedroom. The temp here in Louisiana is supposed to be in the 70s everyone! Any takers?
