Since I've started antibiotics, should I continue for three days at this point? They've had three doses now

Ugh that's tough if you're halfway through... would probably be best to finish it then rather than have something survive the antibiotics, develop resistance, and then be difficult to treat later on.

I mentioned it on the other thread but be sure to throw out all the eggs for 10-14 days.

Thanks all. If it was a lash egg, should I expect another other soon ? And if it's a weird egg but not lash, I assume it's just a one time thing?

So far no more strange things have come out and no other symptoms still

Whilst I've never had a lash egg, I've had my share of strange eggs, and those have always been a once-and-done type of thing.

As for lash eggs, I've heard some were "cured" and live long lives, and others I've heard suffered a shortened life span. Time will tell with yours.

Maybe. Some hens with salpingitis will keep dropping lash material, others may not with any frequency.

It depends. Generally odd eggs are one offs and not a concern. If you continue seeing problematic eggs then definitely you want to narrow down the issue (and culprit).
