hi everyone... i can’t find Baytrit 10% oral solution anywhere and it might because i live in the US... i dont have a vet i can get it from either

is there anything similar to this besides doxycycline?

i will get the one that you get... is it meant for water or orally giving it or both. And what dosage do you give

I give it orally. As far as dosage, @casportpony is the one to ask. It will depend on how much the bird weighs and probably what you're treating for.

i do not have a scale... i do know that she is a 3-4 year old black sex link who is decently small for her age

I hate to say this, but you need to buy a food scale and weigh her. You cannot give Baytril unless you get an accurate weight. It *must* be given orally based on weight.

It would also be good to go to your local pharmacy or Walmart and ask the pharmacy tech for a 1 ml needle-less syringe. Baytril 10% liquid dosage is 0.05 ml per pound twice a day, or 0.25 ml (1/4 ml) twice a day. for a 5 pound chicken.

They have pill form!? Man, I should have gotten that kind! I feel like it’d be way easier hahah
