BBB Turkey Life Span

I have two 2 week old BBB turkey poults, and I have read multiple things on the life expectancy of a BBB turkey? Thanks in advance!!

Depends on the `line' (some lines are more prone to genetic problems - blown hearts/ankles, etc.) and how (much) you feed them. Scheduled feeding (after they hit 3-4 months) and plenty of ranging will extend their lifespan. I think a few members have had hens that lived for 5-7 years. Males about 3-4. I think someone reported having a BB hen that made it 10-11yrs? but that's a stretch.
